Rotomaster Turbo becomes Garrett


Hi Guys,

I was exchanging with big turbo guys from UK and realised that I forgot to mention that I had to change my turbo internals recently.

As you may have read on my blog, I had chosen to install a Kinetic Stage 3 Big Turbo kit 2 years ago. I got problems with the kit, as the turbine became offset and damaged itself. Apparently, Kinetic is a lower-quality copy of Garrett. So I replaced all the turbo internals with Garrett ones, only keeping the Kinetic housing!

Lesson learned: Whenever I get to choose for my next big turbo kit, I’ll go with Garrett.

    Ive recently changed my internals to.
    I was already with Garret, but ive combined my GT35 hotside with a HKS T04z compressor which is already realising more power higher up the rev range and also gives me spooling noise for free.
